Former Auburn DB Joshua Holsey signs with new NFL team

Former Auburn DB Joshua Holsey was a seventh round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, going to the Washington Redskins.
He spent 2 years with the Redskins, recording 2 tackles and recovering a fumble during limited playing time with the team.
Now, he’s on the move. After being waived by Washington a few months ago, Holsey now has a new NFL home. The Oakland Raiders announced they’d signed Holsey on Tuesday:
We have signed DB Makinton Dorleant and CB Joshua Holsey.
In corresponding moves, we have waived Hamp Cheevers and Johnny Townsend.

Holsey will now try to help an Oakland secondary that has struggled mightily in recent years.
The Raiders are also currently being featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” so we’ll see if Holsey makes an appearance on that program.
