Former Auburn CB Joshua Holsey was selected by the Washington Redskins in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
After appearing in 12 games last year and recording a forced fumble, he had yet to appear in a game during the 2018 campaign, dealing with injuries for much of the year.
On Tuesday, though, the Redskins announced they’d waived the former Auburn defender to clear up roster space for new players:

Holsey recorded 118 tackles, four interceptions and 19 passes defended during his time at Auburn, but has yet to find that same success at the NFL level.
Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but there are plenty of teams in need of secondary help.
