Three weeks ago, former Auburn kicker Cody Parkey was signed by the Tennessee Titans. He was replacing Cairo Santos.
Santos was replacing injured starter Ryan Succop, but now that Succop is back from injured reserve, Parkey has been released.
The Titans announced the move on their website, saying Succop has been returned to the active 53-man roster.
In three games with Tennessee, the former Auburn Tiger made all three of his field goal attempts and went 5-for-6 on extra points.
Whether or not he finds a new team before the end of the season remains to be seen, but he did pretty well for the Titans in his limited action.
