Kam Martin has made his next move at the coaching ranks.

The former Auburn standout, who was with the program from 2016-2019, will be the running backs coach at Incarnate Word, according to 247Sports’ Brandon Marcello. He will join new head coach GJ Kinne, who was hired from UCF after a stint as co-offensive coordinator.

Martin joined the UCF program in 2021 as he was reunited with Gus Malzahn. While there, he served as a recruiting and offensive assistant.

He recorded 1,757 yards from scrimmage during his Auburn career. His best season was in 2018, when he totaled 103 carries and 458 yards while adding a touchdown.

In 2021, Incarnate Word was 10-3 under Eric Morris, their best season in the program’s brief history. Morris was then hired as the offensive coordinator at Washington State, with Kinne named as his replacement in San Antonio.
