Former Auburn edge rusher Derrick Hall helped the Seattle Seahawks to a big win over the Atlanta Falcons. He not only had a tackle, but put 6 points on the scoreboard at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
During Sunday’s game in Atlanta, Seattle linebacker Boye Mafe was able to get pressure and sack Falcons QB Kirk Cousins. Cousins fumbled the ball, and Hall scooped it up and took it back for a 36-yard touchdown to extend Seattle’s lead. The Seahawks leave Atlanta with a 34-14 victory.

Hall played at Auburn from 2019-2022, where he put together a very good last 2 seasons. During his junior and senior year at Auburn, he had 147 tackles, 31 TFLs and 19.5 sacks. He was drafted with the 37th pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, and it took him a little while to get going. However, early into year 2, Hall is showing the potential of a guy who can average double-digit sacks.
Entering the game against the Falcons, Hall had 20 tackles and 5 sacks, which is leading the Seahawks. He’ll look to continue being a contributing producer in Week 8 when the Seahawks host the Buffalo Bills, a game set for 4:05 p.m. ET on FOX.
