In his first year in the NFL, former Florida edge rusher Jachai Polite is moving on to team No. 3.

The Los Angeles Rams announced Wednesday that Polite has been signed to the team’s practice squad. The move comes two days after he was released by the Seattle Seahawks.

Polite decided to forego his remaining eligibility to enter the 2019 NFL Draft early. He was a one-time first-round projection, but saw his stock fall significantly leading up to the draft after a disappointing performance at the NFL Scouting Combine and poor showings in interviews with teams. The New York Jets ultimately selected Polite with the No. 68 overall pick, but released him when it came time to make final roster cuts for the 2019 season.

In 2018, Polite earned first-team All-SEC honors after recording 11 sacks. We shall see if the third team’s the charm for Polite as a pro.
