Former Florida DE Jeremy Mincey announced his retirement from the NFL on Tuesday after 10 seasons.
Mincey, who played for the Gators in 2004 and 2005, earning second-team All-SEC honors in 2005.

Mincey was a sixth-round pick by the New England Patriots in the 2006 NFL Draft and played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys in his 10-year career.
According to his NFL.com player profile, Mincey finished his career with 216 tackles, 26 sacks, seven forced fumbles and one interception.
