Former Florida OL Issiah Walker Jr. was an early enrollee as part of the Gators’ 2020 recruiting class.

However, this week, he announced he was going to transfer before ever playing a snap of football for the Gators.

Now, it appears the Miami native has picked a new school. As you can see below, he announced via Twitter he was committing to the Miami Hurricanes:

Walker was a 4-star player in the 2020 class. He was the No. 15 offensive tackle and the No. 24 overall recruit from the state of Florida, per the 247Sports composite rankings.

How will he fare at Miami? It seems he’ll have to sit out a year unless the NCAA approves a one-time transfer exception.
