Former Florida RB impressing statistically with Houston Texans

Former Florida running back Dameon Pierce has been nothing short of impressive in the NFL.

Over the course of the past 3 weeks, the Houston Texans rusher has forced the more missed tackles than any other running back in the league with a total of 2022. That puts him directly ahead of former Michigan State standout Kenneth Walker III, who posts 17 missed tackles.

So far this season, Pierce totals 504 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns on 106 carries. He also has 82 receiving yards on 17 receptions.

Pierce was originally selected by the Texans in the 4th round of the 2022 NFL Draft at pick No. 107 overall. He and the Texans will face their next opponent in the Tennessee Titans on Oct. 3.
