The Oakland Raiders signed former Florida tight end Jake McGee Tuesday, according to the team’s official website.

McGee was originally acquired by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in May, but was waived later in the month. The 6-foot-6, 250-pound tight end spent two seasons in Gainesville after transferring from Virginia in 2014.
McGee recorded 112 receptions for 1,150 yards and 11 touchdowns during his college career, including 41 receptions for 381 yards and four touchdowns in 2015. The senior was named to the Associated Press All-SEC Second Team and was a semifinalist for the John Mackey Award.
