Former Georgia coach Mark Richt weighs in on players skipping bowl games

Former Georgia coach Mark Richt, now the head coach at Miami, weighed in on college football’s latest hot-button issue on Wednesday.
Richt said he thinks players skipping bowl games is sad:

Richt’s comments come after LSU RB Leonard Fournette, Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey and Baylor RB Shock Linwood all announced that they’d skip their team’s bowl games in order to focus on the upcoming NFL Draft.
Miami is currently preparing for a bowl game of its own. The Hurricanes will take on West Virginia in the Russell Athletic Bowl on Wednesday, Dec. 28. The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN.
As of now, Miami’s potential first-round draft pick, junior QB Brad Kaaya, is committed to playing in the game.
