Former Georgia LB Davin Bellamy signed to NFL practice squad

The Cincinnati Bengals announced that they signed former Georgia linebacker Davin Bellamy as a defensive end.
The second-year NFL player went undrafted in 2018 and spent last season on the Houston Texans practice squad. He didn’t make the Texans out of training camp this year. Bellamy hasn’t appeared in a regular season NFL game during his career.
Cincinnati signed Bellamy to its practice squad after signing cornerback Greg Mabin to its active roster this week.
During four seasons from 2014-17 at Georgia, Bellamy posted 135 total tackles, including 24.0 for loss and 13.0 sacks. In his last game with the Bulldogs, he recorded 1.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks against Alabama in the National Championship Game.
The Bengals will visit the Pittsburgh Steelers in a matchup between winless teams on Monday night.
