Jacob Eason has already found a new team after being waived by the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday.

Eason made an appearance in one game for the Colts in the Week 2 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Eason came into the game late to relieve the injured Carson Wentz for a few plays, throwing for 25 yards with an interception.

The former Georgia Bulldog has now been claimed off the waivers by the Seattle Seahawks. The news broke on Wednesday from the Seattle Seahawks PR account on Twitter:

This could end up being a depth move for the Seattle Seahawks, with Russel Wilson on IR with a finger injury from the loss to the Rams in Week 5 on Thursday Night Football.

We’ll see if Eason continues to be a backup like with the Colts, or if the team decides to go a new direction and give him a chance to start.
