FOX Sports’ Colin Cowherd has been reluctant to give Alabama much credit at all, but his guest on Wednesday was quick to do so.
Former Georgia quarterback Matt Stafford was on “The Herd” and was asked whether he was surprised at how successful the Crimson Tide has been, although Cowherd contained that to “in the south” and not the entire country despite winning four of the last seven national titles.
Here’s what Stafford had to say in response to that question:

Stafford went 1-1 against Alabama in his career at Georgia, leading the No. 22 Bulldogs to a 26-23 win at the No. 16 Tide in coach Nick Saban’s first year there in 2007.
However, Alabama got its revenge in Athens the following season in a matchup of top 10 teams when No. 8 Alabama topped No. 3 Georgia 41-30.
