When Kentucky DT Regie Meant left fall camp early in August, it was assumed he wouldn’t return to the team.
Now, though, he’s found a home and will suit up for Jacksonville State in the season opener on Thursday night:
Jacksonville State will have another transfer in uniform tonight as Regie Meant, a former Kentucky Wildcat, was cleared recently.

Meant had 31 tackles and one sack for the Wildcats in 2015.
Now, the 6-foot-4, 302-pound defensive tackle will lead the Gamecocks against North Alabama on Thursday night.
He and his new team will face off against SEC foe LSU next Saturday in Baton Rouge.
