Former Kentucky hoops walk-on forward receives scholarship

Former walk-on Kentucky forward Brennan Canada received the best news a walk-on can Monday night. The senior earned a scholarship from Kentucky basketball following 3 and a half years, 7 semesters with the program.
Head coach John Calipari took to Twitter Monday night to announce the news.

Most of Canada’s impact for the Wildcats has come in practice, though he has seen the floor in 18 games across his career. His first collegiate points came in the 2021-22 season against Central Michigan, a game Kentucky won 85-57.
