Former Kentucky kicker Austin MacGinnis spent this past season in the XFL with the Dallas Renegades.
However, with the XFL ceasing operations amid the COVID-19 outbreak and filing for bankruptcy on Monday, MacGinnis was on the market for a new job.
He’s in luck, as the Los Angeles Rams announced on Monday that they had agreed to terms on a contract with MacGinnis:
We’ve agreed to terms with former XFL kicker Austin MacGinnis + former CFL kicker Lirim Hajrullahu.

MacGinnis will join a kicking competition for the Rams this offseason. We’ll see if he can win the job ahead of the 2020 campaign.
MacGinnis went a perfect 10-for-10 on field-goal attempts for the Renegades during the XFL’s brief run.
