Former Kentucky QB Jared Lorenzen will take his act to the podcast world in the near future, as he and LostLetterman.com founder Jim Weber will host a weekly college football show.
According to SBNation.com, Weber took a chance and asked Lorenzen about the podcast idea:
“I interviewed him for Lost Letterman last year and he seemed like a cool guy,” Weber says, “we’ve interacted on Twitter a couple times and I thought…Man I’d love to do a college football podcast with him. What the hell, I’ll just ask…”
The podcast will cleverly be called James and the Giant QB. Weber and the Round Mound of Touchdown will discuss the latest happenings in the college football world.
Weber sounds excited about the opportunity:
“Not only is Jared one of the most exciting football players I’ve had the pleasure of watching, he is a great guy and absolutely hilarious.”
The show will debut Monday, Aug. 29, and new episodes will come out every Monday throughout the season. Fans can download the show on SoundCloud or iTunes.
