A source told WKYT in Lexington today that Kentucky offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson is done after one season with the program.

Former Kentucky quarterback Patrick Towles, who announced that he’d be transferring back in late November, doesn’t like that move.

Towles expressed his opinion on Thursday via Twitter.

Towles finished his Kentucky career with 5,099 passing yards and 5,452 yards of total offense, both marks are the sixth-most in program history. However, Towles struggled this season, throwing just 9 touchdowns while throwing 14 interceptions, the most in the conference.

Still, Towles used this emoji, which apparently means “sacrificial lamb” to describe how he feels about Dawson’s firing.

Towles confirmed the meaning of that emoji shortly after.

About 15 minutes later, Towles threw up some deuces. Towles, along with Georgia transfer QB Faton Bauta, were hosted by Colorado State just a few days ago.
