The Las Vegas Raiders loaded up on former SEC receivers in the 2020 NFL Draft, picking ex-Alabama star Henry Ruggs III in Round 1. They also picked South Carolina’s Bryan Edwards and Kentucky’s Lynn Bowden Jr. in Round 3.
Bowden, obviously, is a very versatile guy, having played quarterback for the Wildcats for most of 2019. Now, we’ll see how Jon Gruden and the Raiders want to use him.
The important thing for Raiders fans is that Bowden is now under contract by the team. Bowden tweeted a picture of him signing his first contract on Saturday:

With Derek Carr at quarterback, Bowden will likely shift back to his receiver position. However, the Raiders might get creative with him running the Wildcat or getting him the ball in other situations.
The Raiders added some interesting pieces on offense, so we’ll see how that plays out this fall.
