Michigan man Les Miles, the former LSU coach, will head to Ann Arbor to watch his alma mater play later this month.

Miles told The Detroit News that he would be in the Big House to watch the Wolverines play Indiana on Nov. 19:

“I’m going to see if I can find my M jacket,” Miles said laughing during a phone interview Wednesday with The Detroit News. “It may be a little snug.”

Miles also commented on the Wolverines’ coach, who he thinks is leading the program in a great direction:

“I am thrilled with Jim Harbaugh,” Miles said. “I love what’s going on. He’s competitive, he fights and he’s teaching what he knows. I can’t be any happier.

“They have the opportunity to play for the college playoffs and that says something.”

Miles may have a chance to take over a fellow Big Ten school in the near future. Purdue fired head coach Darrell Hazell earlier this season and Miles has been linked to that job.
