An All-SEC selection in 2016, Adams has been playing professionally since 2017. He was selected No. 6 overall by the New York Jets.
Adams spent his first 3 seasons with the Jets (2017-19). He made the PFWA All-Rookie Team in his first season and named first-team All-Pro in his final season.
In his final two seasons with the Jets, Adam was selected to the Pro Bowl. The streak continued to 3 years in 2020, his first season with the Seattle Seahawks.
Adams remained in Seattle through the 2023 season. He signed a 1-year deal with the Titans ahead of the 2024 season.
Things did not go as planned for Adams in the Music City. Adams was ruled out for Tennessee’s opener and had only logged a total of 20 snaps over 3 games this season, recording 4 tackles. Earlier this week, the Titans had placed Adams on the reserve/non-football injury list. It’s notable that Schefter’s Thursday report describes Adams as healthy.
