Former LSU DT Ego Ferguson has a new NFL home.

He’s headed to the Detroit Lions, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Ferguson was selected in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, where he played through 2016. He was placed on injured reserve prior to the start of the 2016 season following a season-ending shoulder injury and was waived this past spring. He was then claimed by the Packers off waivers and was let go two days later after he failed a physical. However, he’s already reportedly passed the Lions’ physical.

During Ferguson’s rookie season, he played in 16 games and made 26 tackles and two sacks. He played in just four games in 2015. He played at LSU from 2011-2013, making 85 tackles and one sack.
