Former LSU OT Joe Barksdale injured in NFL preseason game

Former LSU OT Joe Barksdale, now a member of the San Diego Chargers, took the field in Minnesota on Sunday afternoon for a preseason game against the Vikings.
However, in the first half, Barksdale had to leave the game with an apparent ankle injury.
According to Pro Football Talk, Barksdale suffered the injury when fellow OL Orlando Franklin fell into the back of his legs.
Barksdale walked off the field, but was having his ankle examined on the sidelines.
It’s been a rough preseason outing for the Chargers as a whole, as Barksdale wasn’t the only player forced to leave the game:

San Diego’s final preseason game is scheduled for Thursday night against the San Francisco 49ers.
