SEC pride leads some fans to root for other league teams in bowls or big non-conference games, even sometimes pulling for arch rivals.
Don’t count former LSU running back among those.
Just minutes before Monday’s national championship game between Alabama and Clemson, Hester announced that he won’t be rooting for the Crimson Tide, and he disapproves of other SEC fans from doing it.
Friendly reminder: Don't EVER root for your rivals in National Championship games or any game. It doesn't help your school, it hurts it.
