Former LSU RB Leonard Fournette shines in NFL debut with Jaguars

Former LSU running back Leonard Fournette made his regular season NFL debut with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday afternoon.
The former Tiger didn’t disappoint, either. Fournette looked to be well-deserving of his first-round, No. 4 overall draft selection, as he terrorized the Houston Texans and helped guide his team to a 29-7 divisional win.
Fournette rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries. He also hauled in three catches for 24 yards. He set a Jaguars record while becoming the first player in franchise history to rush for over 100 yards in a debut.
This stellar performance is no surprise to Tigers fans, but it’s a welcomed relief for Jags fans. Fournette rushed for 3,830 yards and 40 touchdowns in his career at LSU from 2014 to 2016.
Fournette had quite a day, indeed:
