It looks like former LSU RB Stevan Ridley has found a place to contribute this season.

Ridley is entering his seventh season in the NFL, but he has not seen much playing time since 2014. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2011 NFL draft.

Ridley’s first three season with the Patriots were fantastic. In 46 games with New England, Ridley rushed for 2,477 yards and 20 TDs.

Ridley has struggled since then largely due to a season-ending knee injury in 2014. He has just 437 rushing yards in his past three seasons.

His numbers have been down, but he could find playing time with his new team. The Minnesota Vikings signed Ridley on Thursday after sending injured RB Dalvin Cook to IR.

The Vikings shared the news on Twitter:

Ridley appeared in 39 games over three seasons at LSU. He ran for 1,419 yards and 19 TDs while averaging 4.6 YPC.
