Austin Deculus will reportedly have a new home in 2026 after spending the last season with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Deculus, a member of LSU‘s undefeated national championship team in 2019, will sign with the Tennessee Titans, according to Adam Schefter.

Deculus, a sixth-round pick in 2022 by the Houston Texans, spent two years with the franchise before being waived in November 2023. A couple of days after that, he was claimed by the New York Jets and eventually was released in the offseason.

After stints with the New Orleans Saints and a return to the Texans, Deculus was traded to the Chargers in the 2025 offseason and started five games with them. He’ll now join the Titans, who are in search of their first playoff appearance since 2021. At Tennessee, he will reunite with Robert Saleh, his head coach with the Jets in 2023.

The Louisiana native, one of the top offensive line prospects in the country as a high school prospect in Texas, was primarily a special teams contributor as a true freshman in 2017. In 2018, he emerged as the starter at right tackle and was the team’s starter there for the national championship game in 2019 against Clemson.
