It’s been a long road to the NFL for former LSU TE Dillon Gordon.
After missing the 2015 season with a ruptured Achilles, Gordon was stabbed several times while at a bar in January.
To make matters worse, he then went the entire 2016 NFL Draft without hearing his name called.
Still, the Philadelphia Eagles took a flyer on the former Tiger as an undrafted free agent, a move that has apparently paid off:
Everyone doubted me and had every reason to torn Achilles, got stabbed in Jan., didn't do ota's, change from Te to OG, OG to LT, LT AND FB

Gordon made the Eagles’ 53-man roster and is listed on the team’s website as an offensive guard.
Here’s hoping Gordon has an injury-free season and gets to stick with one position as he tries to make an impact in the NFL.
