Former Mississippi State DB Johnthan Banks traded to Detroit Lions

Former Mississippi State CB Johnthan Banks will be reunited with college teammate Darius Slay after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sent Banks to the Detroit Lions for a conditional 2018 pick on Tuesday, according to DJournal.com.

Banks was a second-round pick of the Bucs in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Through three-and-a-half NFL seasons, he has 130 tackles and seven interceptions.

He and Slay were both second-round picks in 2013, with Slay going No. 36 overall to the Lions and Banks going to the Bucs at No. 43.
