Former Mississippi State OL Elgton Jenkins suffers season-ending injury for Green Bay Packers
Green Bay suffered a 34-31 loss to Minnesota on Sunday and in the process lost one of its best offensive linemen for the season.
Elgton Jenkins sustained a knee injury in the 4th quarter of the defeat and on Monday it was confirmed that a torn ACL was the diagnosis.
Tests confirmed that Packers’ OL Elgton Jenkins suffered a season-ending torn ACL during Sunday’s loss to the Vikings, per source.

The 6-5, 311-pounder, who payed collegiately at Mississippi State, had proven to be an incredibly versatile lineman for the Packers.
Jenkins was able to play either left guard or left tackle with equal effectiveness, and he had started 38 of his first 40 NFL games in Green Bay.
After a standout career in Starkville with the Bulldogs, Jenkins was drafted by the Packers in the 2nd round of the 2019 NFL Draft with the 44th overall pick.
Green Bay is 8-3 on the season and will play the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
