After three years apiece in New Orleans and Kansas City, Chase Daniel has found another home in Philadelphia.
According to Adam Schefter and Adam Caplan, the former Missouri quarterback has come to an agreement with the Eagles on a multi-year deal.
As a result, Daniel will rejoin Doug Pederson, who was hired as the Eagles’ new coach on Jan. 18. The two worked together over the last three seasons with the Chiefs while Pederson was the offensive coordinator there.

There aren’t a lot of highly coveted free-agent quarterbacks on the market this offseason, but Daniel was certainly among them.
There’s a chance that Daniel could push for playing time with Sam Bradford, who was recently signed to a two-year contract on March 1, especially since Bradford has struggled with consistency and with staying healthy.
Daniel only made two starts in his previous stops with the Saints and Chiefs. In 55 total appearances, he’s completed 50 of his 77 passes for 464 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
Daniel started three seasons at Missouri from 2006-08, winning Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year in 2007 while finishing fourth in the Heisman Trophy voting.
