Former Mizzou CB DeMarkus Acy lands contract with new NFL team

In the 2020 NFL Draft, former Mizzou CB DeMarkus Acy did not hear his name called. Eventually, he signed as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers.
He also spent time on the Seattle Seahawks’ practice squad, but this offseason, he’s looking for a new NFL home.
And, on Monday, it appears he found it. As you can see below, the Mizzou Football Twitter accounted praised Acy for signing a contract with the Steelers for the 2021 season:

We’ll see if Acy can crack the active roster and contribute to a secondary that desperately needs help this season.
During his time at Mizzou, Acy recorded 99 tackles, 3 interceptions and 20 pass breakups.
