Former Mizzou DL Shane Ray says he wants to play The Rock in a future biopic

Shane Ray is one of the more colorful characters in recent Mizzou history, and he thinks that his looks and charisma are perfect to play a modern legend on the big screen – The Rock.

With his rise to fame, not only in the ring but also as an actor, it’s hard to doubt the impact that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has had on American pop culture. From his catchphrases to his antics and poses, The Rock’s quirky personality is perfect for our gif-obsessed, social media driven society.

Former Mizzou DL and current Denver Bronco Shane Ray is a big fan of Johnson and jokingly said that he’s been training his eyebrow to play him in an eventual biopic.

It all started with a tweet by Ray to the former WWE Superstar on Tuesday:

Many on Twitter have already pointed out how similar the two look, even down to the sideburns and hair style.

We can only hope to see the former SEC Defensive Player of the Year rocking this iconic look from The Rock’s prime:
