Former Ohio State defender charged with kidnapping and robbery, per report

Former Ohio State defender Marcus Williamson, who famously called out the Ohio State coaching staff during the Rose Bowl last season, is now facing serious legal problems in Memphis, per a report.
Per an affidavit obtained by 10TV.com, Williamson is accused of kidnapping a woman and forcing her to withdraw money from an ATM:
According to an affidavit, a woman told the Memphis Police Department an unknown man kidnapped her and took her wallet and phone on Aug. 18. The victim told police the man, identified as 23-year-old Marcus Williamson, forced her to drive him to an ATM where he gave the victim her debit card back. Williamson then told the woman to withdraw $500 from the ATM, which she did.
Williamson now faces a handful of charges after police found him driving the alleged victim’s car at a car wash:
Williamson is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping and tampering with or fabricating evidence. He is being held on an $80,000 bond with his next court date scheduled for Sept. 7 at 9 a.m., according to court records.
Williamson played for the Buckeyes from 2017 to 2021, recording 65 total tackles, 4 pass breakups, 2 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery during his career in Columbus. He was part of last year’s team that made the Rose Bowl, though he didn’t play in the game.
