Former Ole Miss safety Trae Elston has been re-signed by the NFL’s Buffalo Bills.
Buffalo needed a safety after Colt Anderson broke his arm for a second consecutive season, a report from ProFootballTalk stated.
Elston, who was an All-America and All-SEC first-teamer at Ole Miss, played with the Bills during the first two weeks of the season before being waived on Saturday by the Philadelphia Eagles — which he played one game for.
Elston also has spent time with the New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns.
Tuesday’s news about Elston was first reported by ESPN’s Mike Rodak.

Elston has been on the move quite a bit, having been with all five of the above organizations in the last year or so. He went undrafted in 2016 before signing with the Saints.
At Ole Miss from 2012 to 2015, Elston racked up a ton of accolades.
