Travaris Robinson and Will Muschamp have quite the history together. Robinson coached under Muschamp from 2011 to 2014 at Florida, in 2015 at Auburn and from 2016 to 2020 in South Carolina.
Now, though, Muschamp has been fired as the coach of the Gamecocks, so Robinson has had to go find a new job.
On Saturday, the Miami Hurricanes officially announced that they’d hired Robinson as the defensive backs coach under head coach Manny Diaz:
One of the best recruiters in America, and one of the top defensive coaches in the country, is coming back home to Miami.

“We are excited to welcome Travaris and his family back to Miami,” Diaz said in a press release. “He is a proven defensive coach and an excellent recruiter who will be an outstanding addition to our coaching staff.”
Robinson was the defensive coordinator for the Gamecocks the past 5 seasons. We’ll see how he does as a part of the Miami staff.
