Nick Harvey spent the first three years of his college career at Texas A&M, making 66 tackles and snagging an interception as a junior in 2016 and then redshirted in 2017.
In 2018, he went to South Carolina as a graduate transfer, but had his season cut short after four games due to a concussion.
Now, the defensive back has been granted one more year of eligibility, and he announced on Monday night that he’d be heading to North Texas to finish up his college career:
God writes everybody their own story. It’s all about you putting all your faith and trust in him! I am more than happy to announce that I will be continuing my playing career and The University of North Texas! pic.twitter.com/QZgyDYSuNX

In his career, Harvey has 113 tackles (5.5 for a loss), one interception, 14 pass breakups and one fumble recovery.
How he fares at North Texas remains to be seen, but the Mean Green are getting a defensive back with a lot of SEC experience for the 2019 season.
