Tennessee may not have had any luck in the most recent NFL draft after having no players selected in any of the seven rounds but that didn’t deter former Volunteer defender Curt Maggitt, as the hybrid linebacker/defensive end has reportedly made the Colts final roster after coming to the team as a free agent.
As NFL teams announced final roster over the weekend, Maggitt’s long road to the NFL looks to have initially paid off in Indianapolis:

Maggitt played for Tennessee from 2011-2015 but missed the entire 2013 season and the majority of last season due to injuries. For his college career, Maggitt racked up 141 tackles, 28.5 tackles-for-loss and 13.5 sacks for the Vols.
