The Tennessee Volunteers are losing some depth along the offensive line this offseason, as veteran Ryan Johnson entered the NCAA transfer portal as a graduate transfer.

Now, it appears he’s chosen his next school and will play his final year of eligibility in the ACC.

Per Johnson’s Twitter account, he’s going to transfer to Georgia Tech to finish out his college career in 2020:

Johnson started the Georgia State and BYU games this season before losing his starting job. He had entered the season with a 16-game starting streak.

He was a 4-star recruit in the 2016 class and will be eligible to play right away for the Yellow Jackets.
