Former Texas A&M DB Marquis Groves-Killebrew has found a new home.

After a year in College Station, the Georgia native is headed to Louisville to continue his college football career. Groves-Killebrew made the announcement Friday on social media.

Out of North Cobb High School, Groves-Killebrew was a blue-chip prospect. The 6-foot, 180-pounder was rated 4-stars, the No. 11 Peach State recruit, No. 13 cornerback and No. 114 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite.

Groves-Killebrew was long committed to Georgia. He pledged to Kirby Smart’s program on May 27, 2020 and maintained that verbal commitment until Dec. 15, 2021, flipping and signing with Jimbo Fisher’s Texas A&M program.

Groves-Killebrew played in 3 games during the 2022 season, meaning he can take a redshirt. He first appeared in the South Carolina game, recording no other statistics. Groves-Killebrew had 2 solo tackles against Ole Miss. He also played against Florida but did not record any defensive statistics.
