Former Texas A&M LB Tyrel Dodson reportedly receives multi-game NFL suspension

Former Texas A&M LB Tyrel Dodson won’t be playing in any NFL games for the next few weeks.
The NFL has reportedly suspended Dodson for six games. NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports that the suspension is in relation to Dodson’s May arrest on domestic violence allegations. He later pleaded to a lesser charge, disorderly conduct, with the domestic violence charges effectively dropped, per 247Sports. The NFL hands out suspensions after their own investigations, even in cases where charges are dropped, separate from law enforcement and the court system.
Dodson left Texas A&M after his junior season to enter the 2019 NFL Draft. He was not selected in the seven rounds of the draft but landed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent.
