The Tennessee Titans are officially making a change.
After Ryan Tannehill replaced a benched Marcus Mariota in Week 6, the former Aggie quarterback will get the start in Week 7. NFL insider Ian Rapoport broke the news on Tuesday evening.
The #Titans are making a QB change. Ryan Tannehill has been informed he’ll get the start Sunday against the #Chargers, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. Former No. 2 overall pick Marcus Mariota goes to the bench.

Tannehill was 13-of-16 passing for 144 yards and one interception on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, a step up from Mariota’s outing (7-of-18 passing for 63 yards and 2 INT).
After playing at Texas A&M from 2008-11, the Miami Dolphins selected Tannehill with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. He played in Miami from 2012-18, but was traded to the Titans for a sixth-round draft pick in the offseason.
