Former Texas A&M WR Mike Evans signed a massive $82 million contract extension this offseason, and he plans on putting it to good use.

On Saturday, he made a sizable donation to a family in need, according to a report from TampaBay.com.

Per the report, Evans donated $11,000 to the family of Gregory Hill, who was shot and killed by two police officers back in 2014.

The GoFundMe page for the family, which can be found here, shows the donation from “Michael Evans” and the receiver posted about it on Twitter prior to sending the money.

The donation will certainly go a long way toward helping the Hill family, and it was a great gesture from Evans, who has become a big part of his community in Tampa.
