Jahdae Walker picked a brilliant time to haul in his first NFL touchdown pass, as the former Texas A&M standout delivered in a clutch moment Saturday night for the Chicago Bears against the Green Bay Packers.
Walker’s 6-yard reception from Caleb Williams with :24 to play in regulation helped the Bears engineer an improbable late comeback that was capped by an equally insane 46-yard DJ Moore TD catch in overtime and a 22-16 Chicago win.
Walker recorded 2 receptions for 21 yards against the Packers on 3 targets – the first catches of his pro career for the former Aggie. Walker played 27 percent of the Bears’ snaps as they were without Rome Odunze (ankle) after totaling only 9 snaps in 4 previous 2025 games.
Walker was an undrafted free agent in the 2025 draft class out of Texas A&M, where he recorded 64 catches for 935 yards and 4 touchdowns in the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Prior to College Station, Walker played 2 seasons at Grand Valley State.
Walker first turned heads in Chicago in the preseason, recording 3 receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown in a 24-24 tie against Miami in his debut appearance. And in the Bears’ preseason finale, Walker caught 3 passes including the game-winning touchdown against Kansas City.
