The veteran cornerback has already earned his bachelor’s degree and will be able to play next season as a graduate transfer. One possible connection that makes sense would be Mississippi State, who hired defensive coordinator Todd Grantham away from Louisville this offseason.
Wiggins reportedly left Georgia to join Grantham in Louisville. Now that Grantham is with Mississippi State, it’s not a stretch of the imagination to believe that the cornerback could once again reunite with his former defensive coordinator.
Although that makes sense, however, it’s purely speculation at this point.
