Former USC Trojan, Louisiana native Joe McKnight shot and killed in Terrytown

Former USC Trojans RB Joe McKnight, a Louisiana native, was shot and killed in an apparent road-rage incident in Terrytown, Louisiana on Thursday afternoon.

McKnight, who played in the NFL with the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs, was apparently murdered by someone who was angry about a traffic incident, according to a NOLA.com report:

McKnight was only 28 years old at the time of his death. He spent the 2016 season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League.
