Former Vanderbilt defensive lineman Elijah McAllister has found his next destination not long after entering the transfer portal, and he’ll be staying in the Southeastern Conference.

McAllister took to Twitter this week, saying he had committed to Auburn.

“It’s time to get back to playing that brand of Auburn Football we all know and love,” he wrote. “Committed. #WarEagle”

With the commitment of the sixth-year senior, Auburn has now landed 2 commitments from the transfer portal ahead of Early Signing Day, adding to the addition of FIU tight end transfer Rivaldo Fairweather on Sunday.

Over the past 3 seasons with the Commodores, McAllister tallies 65 total tackles (38 solo), 3 passes defended, 2.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 1 interception.
