Former Vol Albert Haynesworth on UT defense: ‘Fulmer and Chief would’ve committed suicide’

Former Tennessee defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth is not happy with Butch Jones and the rest of the Volunteers’ current coaching staff — to say the least.
That may not be a huge surprise to Vols fans considering this is not the first time Haynesworth has been critical of the program. He’s disappointed by the fact that Tennessee’s run defense has been so bad lately. After all, the Vols are coming off a recent showing where they allowed a school-record 535 rushing yards to Georgia Tech.
Haynesworth, who played for Tennessee from 1999 to 2001, joined Nashville’s Midday 180 radio show on 104.5 The Zone to further discuss his displeasure on Thursday.
Former #Vols DE Albert Haynesworth with @Midday180: “Sitting back is the way to avoid chop blocks…total BS…as soon as ball moves, you move.”

Haynesworth with @Midday180: “We need to get back to changing an attacking style. Khalil and Shy were supposed to be me and John Henderson.”

More Haynesworth: They’re holding back McKenzie and Tuttle. Those guys are more than capable.

Albert Haynesworth told @Midday180 he wants to see UT play a “real game.”
“Fulmer and Chief would’ve committed suicide…let guys attack.”

Haynesworth made a point to emphasize that he doesn’t hate Jones.
Haynesworth with the @Midday180: I don’t dislike Butch…want to see us win, not picking favorites. Let’s turn it back to attacking defense.
