Albert Haynesworth has been in the news a lot lately.
He has been known to be exceptionally outspoken, as evidenced by recent comments he made on Twitter criticizing some of Tennessee’s coaching tactics.
Now, Haynesworth has let the public know who he wants Tennessee’s next head football coach to be.
That is, of course, assuming that current head coach Butch Jones will be fired, which seems to be a foregone conclusion with everybody in Knoxville. It hasn’t happened yet.
Still, Haynesworth is speaking out.
The former Tennessee defensive tackle wants current USC offensive coordinator Tee Martin to be the next head coach of the Volunteers.
Haynesworth recently tweeted this:
My pick 4 for UT Head coach!!! He could develop our offense like has done with USC @coachtee17 Bring him home UT leaders!!!! pic.twitter.com/8J3SEd2Gq5

Haynesworth points out Martin’s ability to develop an offense, which has certainly been one of his most obvious attributes during his time with the Trojans. Martin also has a reputation for being one of the nation’s top recruiters.
He’s certainly got a connection with the Vols, as he led them to a national championship from the quarterback position in 1998.
